I went by the nature preserve near my office with my friend Mike and his mom to take some photos. Unfortunately, when I tried to download the pics, the card got corrupted. I was able to recover some, but lost my favorites. So, I made lemonade with the lemons and posted the better of what I did recover.

Peter and I walked Buca down to the the water and, on the way back, I saw a lovely stand of flowers in the park on our block. Enjoy the view!

Steve and I took a 10-mile white water rafting trip down the the Deerfield River with my church. Everyone had a blast, and the continual rain that's plagued us the past weeks made the river more active than usual. A silver lining to our yet sunless summer. ;-)

Leaving the snow storm in Boston, Peter and I took advantage of the January holiday weekend to escape to sunny, 85 degree Jamaica.

Peter and I took a long weekend in what we thought would be warm and sunny San Diego, but it turned out to be cold and rainy. We had four straight days of rain with highs in the 50s. There was one afternoon of sunshine before we returned to Boston, and I took that opportunity to snap a few pictures.

For our anniversary, Peter and I headed to the beaches of Port Lucaya, near Freeport, in the Bahamas. We couldn't pass up the great deals available to anyone crazy enough to visit the Caribbean in the middle of hurricane season.

For all my travels in Europe, I've seen pitifully little of the US. Now that I'm living here again, I wanted to explore some my own beautiful land. My brother had 3 weeks off and I thought it made the perfect excuse for a trip to the Grand Canyon and some National Parks.

Peter had a business gathering in Kennebunkport, Maine. It was the perfect excuse for a long weekend, and the weather cooperated marvelously! I can see why the Bush family chose this quaint New England sea town as a vacation getaway.
