I had a quick trip to Portland for work, and having never been to Oregon before, I took the opportunity to explore as much of the area as possible. Here's what I saw...

After months of preparation, the big day finally came and went. It was mostly a blur for us, but we caught it on film... so there's proof!

Two prerequisites for living in Boston are worshiping the Sox and loving Aerosmith. Although I now live in Germany, these loves don't die. So I drove up to Köln (Cologne) with my roommate Monika to catch Aerosmith's last show in Germany for their 2007 World Tour. Their energy, attitude and presence made the entire place come alive! Wed had great seats, but I was almost disappointed not to be in the pit, because I just wanted to stand up and dance the whole time.

For a recent business trip to Kosovo I flew in/out of Skopje, Macedonia. On my departure, we had to go to the airport a number of hours before my flight to drop off passengers taking an earlier flight out. So, rather than sit at the airport for hours, my escorts showed me some of the local sights in Skopje. Oh, and the album title is a reference to a class of predictable/formulaic jokes. It will make sense if you know those kind of jokes and if you know how to pronounce Skopje.

The CLK I ordered on February 1, 2007 was finally ready for pickup, and not a moment too soon with this gorgeous Spring weather Germany's had. Here's a photo journal of the big event.

My roommate Monika and I decided to spend a sunny Saturday exploring some nearby sights, but ended up in Rotterdam. We had only enough time to scratch to surface on what this fascinating city had to offer, but it made for an amazing weekend adventure. We even got to visit the world-famous tulip gardens at the Keukenhof, which had just opened for the season.

Where better to celebrate Easter than the eternal city? I joined my friends Alessandro (a native of Rom), Aliz, and Marcus for a 5-day adventure through history.

My friend Jeremy and I played jet setters for Memorial Day weekend. We rented a convertible and drove to Monaco where we found great weather, delicious food, and plenty of opportunity to dress up.

My biblestudy group, the Haus, arranged a tour of Greece to visit many of the Apostle Paul's missionary stops in the region. The trip was enlightening, inspiring, relaxing, and fun! Couldn't ask for more!

My friend Laurel had a conference in Barcelona, so I came over to join her and we wandered about and took picctures. ;-)

For our first excursion, I took Mom to Holland to check out the picturesque towns and the world-famous tulip festival.

Well, after over a year in Europe I finally made it to my #1 destination, Venice! And I was there for the coolest time of year: Carnival!

After staying home for both Thanksgiving & Christmas, I was itching to go away. So, I decided to make the most of the MLKJ holiday and enjoy the sun and sand of Grand Canary island.
