After sunset at Cannon Beach, I headed north to the Oregon/Washington border, to check out a town called Astoria with the world's longest continuous truss bridge.

The base of the Astoria-Megler Bridge is the slight incline to the left, above the building.  It stretches 4.1 miles across the mouth of the Columbia river to connect the Oregon and Washington coasts.
